But if price matters more choose any of the cheaper ones. It annoys me greatly that as soon as BCP took over from Q Park they almost doubled parking charges. It's the same service - it's not worth nearly twice as much. I've booked with Karl for my week away next month for £24 and will build the additional time into my journey so convenience isn't an issue. I refuse to pay BCP £40 for a service that cost £24 as recently as February this year.

Although KARL is much cheaper it is quite far away from the airport and it involves the faff of leaving your keys, checking in, waiting for the shuttles to and from etc.
I would pay a premium for the services at Belfast International Long Stay, if only for the peace of mind. For a cheaper option i have used easi-park in the pas, they are only a mile from the airport, the shuttle was very regular and i had no problems.0 -

Actually Karl lets you keep your keys so in that respect is more secure than McCauslands, Cosmos etc. :j0 -

Like parking your car in a secure carpark & getting dropped off at the terminal like every other carpark which is nearly half the price....... :money:What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -
Used Karl for the first time last weekend. £13 for 4 days. Keys went with me. Money paid up front. No problem with getting dropped off. Pick-up was simple and no need to go near office. Excellent service.
Just one note of warning. Nothing to do with Karl. The phones at the airport are 60p per minute.0 -
Yes, I meant to report back that my experience with Karl was great. Drop off was very efficient in spite of it being so early, keys stayed with me and pick up was prompt and friendly. :T A great service all in all - there is no need to pay the inflated prices at the official long stay - in fact if more people voted with their feet perhaps they would review their pricing.
And their contact number is an 028 landline so was free to ring from my mobile when I got back. :-)0 -
Another vote for Karl, yes its a wee bit further than the rest but having used Easipark for 6 years or so...It's Karl for me. I used easipark just this week and when I booked my car in over a week in advance a guy called John said just come on up , none of my details taken, didnt ask for my reg or was I given a refernce number or anything, ( I asked for his name) rang on the day to confirm it was still ok to come on up and a different guy called Craig ranted down the phone to me that I should have got a refernce number and that I SHOULD HAVE CALLED BACK AND ASKED FOR A REFERENCE NUMBER ----!!!!!! !!!!
brought my car up on the day and bite my tongue and said nothing when again he tried to say it was my fault i should have checked...
yes on previous occassions they have given me a booking number and taken my reg and date and time of coming but I thought they must not be busy at this time ( they wernt )
I was asked to pay up front....never asked before for payment up front but anyway on my return more grief......very stroppy and very rude........Very bad customer service and very INCONSISTENT service.......have only used Karl once to try them but its Karl now for me .....all the way !!!!!!!0 -

We park at McCauslands BECAUSE they keep your keys! This resulted in an unfortunate incident at Edinburgh Airport, when feeling a bit hot I tucked my coat into my bag I was checking in - bad move, I came home and bag containing coat with keys in the pocket didn't!
I am now lucky enough to have a friend living close to the airport, who enjoys a good supply of duty free in exchange for parking/collection. But mum recently had to leave her car at McCauslands for an unplanned additional 2 weeks, we did inform them what was wrong and why the car wasn't being picked up and they kindly only charged her a bare minimum amount, so McCauslands gets my vote!DJWW - cos we won't let it!0 -

I've seen too many programmes in which airport car parks that hold onto the keys abuse the cars in their care to think that's safer.
I always travel with my keys in hand baggage since an unfortunate business trip which ended with me having to break into my case into which I had padlocked all my keys in the middle of the car park at City airport in the pouring rainso unless we had to evacuate the plane on water leaving hand baggage behind would not be separated from my keys.
