  • Hi, If you want to keep saving energy or help others understand their usage after earth hour you can share or search electricity meter readings (like those you get from kill-a-watt) at earthpill dot com
It's a free community site that has over 400 appliances you can search for on or standby energy consumption.
It converts your meter readings into how much the appliance costs you in terms of cash and carbon footprint.
You can also build up an audit of your home or office (providing the meter readings have been added by someone). The more readings that are added the more useful the site is to others!
Check it out and help build it up for others to save energy from your readings.

  • Here's a handy tool for tracking your weekly energy consumption:

    https://www.imeasure.org.uk

just register and add your weekly readings. You can also see your usage as a graph and receive an energy rating compared with other users once youve submitted four whole weeks of readings.

    I've signed up.

We're sitting in the dark now so I don't think we'll bother putting the light on now anyway. We'll have to put the kitchen one on in a min as we need food.

They just mentioned it on the news, will they show it on the telly when all the lights do out/dim in the cities?

Is it just the lights out, or everything, I wouldn't mind seeing it on telly?
I guess they'll show it again tomorrow so I can watch it then?

The more people who sign up adds more support for the event and the reasons behind it.

See my post just above for the link.
