The cyncics can bleat all they like about 'it will do nothing' and 'I will be turning EVERY light on' (how immature is that?!) and 'it's a rubbish idea'. I doubt people with that attitude care what will soon happen to this world, or maybe they only care about what's happing now in their own blinkered worlds.
The people taking part are the sort who go about quietly making a difference every day in whatever way they can. Even if the cynics are very much in the minority sometimes they talk so much nonsense I could punch their lights out! :rotfl:0 -

Nope, I sitting with two lights on. I'd like to sit with just one light on but the room is L shaped and needs two lights. Well it needs two lights if you are using both ends of the room at the same time, something I can't do.
The cheapskates that build the house saved a little money by having one switch for both lights, so it's both on or neither.0 -

Unless you have made them yourself you are probably doing more damage than you are saving!0 -

I read this this morning, after I saw the google webpage, thanks. It just seems a bit gimmicky to me. I do try to be environmentally friendly (this goes hand in hand with being money saving at times), but don't see how my sitting in the dark for an hour will achieve this objective.
Or am I completely missing the point?0
