the poster insinuated that you are a dodgy buyer.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
He didn't state £2.50 per item in the auction descriptions - so what do you mean he did what he said he would? He said what he did!
Actually 7 items, not 6, you REALLY didn't read the thread did you?
Yes, he is a dodgy seller by my reckoning.. and others, do you know him or something?
I asked for constructive advice, not criticism and "well.. you should have.." "oh, you deserve an NPB"
Clearly beyond help.
And for the records how the hell would I know someone you haven't even mentioned ? :TA male chef of 4. My restaurant is always full and i don't need to tout for business.
OK OK I'm a house husband but it did sound better my way :beer:0 -
I think this may be the seller...

In which case he clearly states:
So he is covering himself as OP has purchased several items. I imagine these things are fairly heavy, plus need to be packed securely to avoid damage. He has offered £2.50 discount on each package, making £7.50 per board. I dont think that is unreasonable for 7 individual items, given he has to pack with bubblewrap, firm boxes and take the items to the post office. Also if you are paying by paypal ALL items have to have full tracking anyway for insurance0 -

I was asking for constructive advice, not criticism. Advice to help me, not "well you should have done this before you bought them" etc.
I specifically asked only for those with constructive advice to post, so you're actually wasting your own time. I asked you not to post.
Actually no, that is not the seller, and no, £60 for one package containing 7 items is not acceptable. Come on be realistic!
Anyone who thinks the seller is OK to charge £60 and sells on eBay, please PM me your selling ID so that I can avoid your auctions.0 -
Ha ha this is really amusing me that the OP is so convinced that they are right in the face of overwhelming disagreement from independant sources.
Should you not be posting your user Id so we can avoid you?!?!

unfortunatly from what i can see the seller can choose how the pack, send and discount on the items.
you chose to bid without requesting the info beforehand.
no doubt under the new FB rules the seller would be enjoying 7 negs for not providing the discount you deem appropriate0 -
OP you are the one in the wrong here, not the seller. The charges were clearly outlined in the listing. If you wanted to do some kind of deal with postage and packing you should have contacted the seller beforehand and not left it until after you had won the items.
I'd like your eBay ID so that I can block you as a buyer

Ahh yes, I need advice, but only advice I like.
Your seller will send you 7 seperate parcels. This is because if he sends them all in just one parcel he only has tracking for one item. This is to save him being taken to the cleaners by less than honest buyers.
So yes, £7.50 PER PARCEL is a reasonable charge for 7 delicate items.0 -
£60 may well be excessive P&P, but that's not really the issue, each listing needs to be taken separately, so the question really is is £10 excessive. I'm not sure it is.
Nobody is under any obligation to provide postage discounts, his listing indicated there would be one and you got one.0 -
Just got off the phone to powerseller support. They agree the shipping costs are excessive and have asked for me to send them a copy of the email invoice with full headers, they will investigate and take action.
!!!!!! for???
The seller isn't in the wrong, YOU are
As a matter of fact, if you are a power seller then why on earth are you asking for advice on something you should know anyway?
Can I ask you one question, if you had only won one item from this seller, would you be whining that £10 was too much p&p??Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0
