I got a number from them a few weeks ago. Everything went fine. Like you I received a reply within 10 minutes, even at 10pm at night!0

OK, what's a UK2 number?!0
-
1 better than a UK1Number! ;D
They sell non-geographical numbers (0845, 0870, 0871 and the like).

TouranMan,they are providers of 0870/0845 numbers which makes DonnyDave a hypocrite when you read his

SAYNOTO0870
Take a look at the Saynoto0870 website!0 -
Seen the web site and use it ,the more we use these numbers the more companies will use them to make up the loss they incurr through people like you.
check the dictionary for the meaning of hypocriteDon`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
I think you need to get it into perspective. Companies very rarely phone the customer, the customer phones them. The losses they 'incur' from customers with NGNs is nothing compared with calling other companies/suppliers with NGNs.
If you go to the Saynoto0870 website, there are quite a few people like me who have got an 0870/1 number.
Companies that 'incur' these charges should think again when providing NGNs.
Some may not be aware of the difference between so-called "national rate" and the costs of calling geographical numbers.0 -
I agree with what you say about the companies that use these numbers, but surely the way to stop the practice is to protest not copy, and I stand by what I have previously said. It does not matter who you give the number to,you have your feet in both camps!
The following is taken from the Cambridge dictionary:-
hypocrisy
when someone pretends to believe something that they do not really believe or that is the opposite of what they do or say at another time:
There's one rule for her and another rule for everyone else and it's sheer hypocrisy.
there are variations on this, but basically I do not believe that you can be against companies giving them out, then get one yourself.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
But I do not "believe" in 0870 NGNs. If all companies I deal with use geographical numbers then I won't get any calls to my 0870 number.
I've written to a couple of companies pointing out what "national rate" actually means, I am awaiting replies...0 -
If you don`t "believe"in them, don`t get your own, this is exactly what being a hypocrite means!Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0
