    Mudbath.. pathetic excuse.. we have 2 hands for a reason.. the vacuum only needs 1 hand.. ditto the broom, duster, bog brush, toy picking up.. and I'm pretty certain we can find a way to accomplish everything else as well.. a bag of parrots biscuits for the pain and get on lass!!

    MOAM.. I'm off to Crufts too, with my mother and 2 oldest girls.. just for the Sunday, but staying Saturday and Sunday nights (no worries Lil_me.. next weeks list is covered!! ;) ).. we'll be at the dachshunds and bassets and we have best in show tickets for the night.. you up for a [strike]beer[/strike] :coffee:?? Don't suppose you are staying at the local travellodge are you?? lol

    Nikki - I like the idea of putting the list on the fridge. Do you think it would be enough to encourage teenage boys though? :rotfl:

    Meddling Monday-

    Weekly Menu DONE
    Grocery List DONE
    Laundry - tea towels & dishcloths; one load of clothes FOLDED & PUT AWAY
    Get DS3 off to school early - he's off on a two day kayaking trip DONE
    Walk Dog OH DID
    Clean up after new puppy **sigh** OH DID :)
    Work 9-3 DONE
    Grocery shopping DONE
    Unpack groceries - hate that bit DONE
    Dinner DONE INCLUDING ALL DISHES
    Get monthly invoices ready to post - INVOICES COPIED and FOLDED and put into envelopes
    Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper. HAVE RECONCILED CC AND TRANSFERED $$ INTO BANK ACCT.
    HHI.. get that mountain gone! 15 minutes DONE
    Get to bed at a reasonable hour because puppy is waking us up through the night. PROMISE TO GO STRAIGHT AFTER DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES.

    OK, my list for today:

    Dailies – chooks, laundry, pots

    Library books – renew and return
    Watch battery for DD
    Freeze parsnips
    Menu plan
    Shopping list
    Portion and freeze pizzas
    Kitchen floor
    Sort, dust, hoover porch
    Sweep and mop my bedroom floor, dust
    Clear 2 fireplaces
    Fill 2 log baskets
    Make Yorkshires and mash (with sausages and veg for today’s tea)
    Make corned beef hash bake for tomorrow’s tea
    Pick sprouts
    Plant potatoes, carrots, peas in polytunnel
    Ironing

    I’d like to have some time to myself to practice my crochet, and e-mail my sisters too.

    That'll keep me busy, and no time to be on here :p:D

    Lost my motivation by Wed last week and it shows!
    Need to do better this week. Am going to try my own list each day as some rooms just stand a better chance of getting done that way with the way our week goes.

    Mudbath- Poor you and the plaster, missed last weeks thread so not sure what happened, but lilac does sound a good choice

    Hope those who were giving up things are still doing well.
    I've been doing the morning jog round the block, still puffing and panting but I'm trying.

    SoappieHope Operation ORF is going well. We need to make sure that Mudbath is occupied today. She may stand out a bit seeing as she is a squirrel with her hand in bandage!!

    Well didn't really accomplish anything over the weekend. saying that I have mowed the back garden which is quite good as it is 150ft. Just wish it looked great. Would love to get it leveled out and made to look 'pretty' because right now it is really uninspiring and bumpy :(


    Anyway doing the kitchen today as it always seems to need doing the most after the weekend
    Manic Monday- Kitchen and Dining Room
    [STRIKE]Level One
    Clear and wipe those surfaces, even if around things[/STRIKE]!
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clean floors [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, wipe any spills[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary) .
    Clean appliances such as kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances, don't forget those kick boards[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clean oven if you didn't do it last week[/STRIKE]last week
    [STRIKE]Check those washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters[/STRIKE]
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    [STRIKE] window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    Wipe down any tiles [/STRIKE]and shine those taps a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    [STRIKE] through bakeware, anything that needs a good soak or is past it's use by
    Clean one drawer out, what is that in there? Sort through it and clean it before putting everything back[/STRIKE]

    Fix magnet so DD can't get to the DVD's :D:D
