This site is for buying papers to download but they do freebies as well (change all the time too!). I haven't used it myself but a couple of my friends use this site all the time for freebie background papers...

Hope it helps someone! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Shaz_mum_of_2 - your cards are really fab! I would def pay money for all of what you've made (except I'm trying to make most of my cards myself so don't actually need to buy any but you know what I'm saying!).
Also, where did you go to get your crafting goodies. Can't believe you got everything in the photo for a tenner. Well done you! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Hi! Not been here over the weekend and I'm at work right now with their mixture of an ancient internet browser and a strict internet blocker (can't access photobucket etc here:rolleyes: ) so I can't see your pictures so I'm not being rude by not saying how great they are yet! I'm sure they are all wonderful but I want to see them first!
Thank you very much for recommending the Canon scrapbooking site Mary and Polly, it is wonderful! I've just spent an hour on there printing off papers and I'm going back for more!:jOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Hiya all
Rainmac- The scissors were £1.99 home bargains 59p for pack of triple cards in there too
the 2 scrapbook sets and 2 sticker sets and the foam pads all from poundland
the yellow and burgundy A4 sheets card from local stationers 20p each
The mag and ribbon stickers from The Range £1 each
Total £9.99 i was dead pleased and i thought the scissors might be a bit naff but they cut really well
I could in reality spend £50 easy just in the range........but not allowed!!!
Anyone know if poundstretcher/Instore sell papers etc

ive been away on holiday so havent been online much but tonight ive trawled through all the posts, lovely they are as well.
ive been card making and scrapbooking for a while now and ,although ive gathered mucho stuff i never buy any of the expensive things they all seem to talk about on other craft sites so here is wonderful as i know others love the pound shops as much as i do and i must admit ive bought loads of my crafting things from them.in fact some of the scrapbooking kits they have been selling are exactly the same as being sold by the company "mic" and have even been sold on one of the 2 craft shopping channels -cant remember which one-for way much more than the obligatory £1 .
ive never taken any photos of any cards ive made but would like to join you from time to time(im away every other week/weekend) in the challenges-great idea!!
someone was asking re free stuff to use so below are a selection of the sites i use so hope the links all work ,if they dont let me know and i will try and sort it out but not being technically minded it may not work lol

Hi all ~ absoulty loving all your cards they are fab. You all are so talented
Might have a go at some of your challenges if I may. Do you have a back dated list of what you have done the previous weeks? I know there was a thankyou card and a black and white card in there somewhere.
Shaz, thats a great amount of stash there, that should keep you going a long time. I am on a stash diet as of the 15th as I have way too much and I can only buy glue and replacement knifes/blades. As for glues I use a range including glue dots, pva, herma, double sided tape and pritt stick, it depends what I am sticking it to was well.
Btw here is a card making forum I usually take part in, lots of inspiration in the sticky at the top.
Have a great day all0
