Just poking my virtual head round the virtual door just to let you all know that i am lurking! Loved all the recent cards posted. You're all so talented. Brilliant idea to have the challenge schedule.

I've been really busy lately and school holiday finishes this week so I might be about a bit more.... although .....I've been for a job interview today which (if I get it) might end up taking priority over my internet life *boo hoo*!
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j

Well hi there again kisto, nice of you to 'pop in' virtually!

Obviously we hope you get the job, but you're right, it would disrupt your internet fun!

We would like you to join in with our challenges but we will understand if you find yourself time restricted!

Polly started this thread to get ideas and share new techniques etc and the weekly theme is there so we get new ideas, join in with or without pictures, share ideas, we all want to learn and be better cardmakers. There is no pressure. It is nice to see what others are doing. Everyone is welcome.. beginners, more advanced, the more the merrier

Thank you all for your kind comments. I tried to resize it but the computer broke, I think its because I don't have acrobat abode??? or something installed!! I tried to post a link instead but that just linked to the sign in page!!!! I have felt rotten today so I couldn't be bothered fighting with the computer.
The decoupage that I used was out of a little book called "precious moments", I bought it from ebay. It contains 18 decoupage pictures to make, and also backing papers for about 10 of them. They are quite simple to do, but can be quite time consuming. The one I made didn't come with matching backing paper, so I used some patterned glitter card that I had lying around. I wanted to try to use sentiments other than peel offs, so the one I used was from a sheet of die-cut sentiments, (meaning you don't cut it out it is already pre-cut), that I got from a website called liz's crafts, (she also has some of the larger "precious moments" decoupage sheets in stock.
