Ideas for card craft beginner

Right im back:rotfl: and im no longer confused:rotfl: im so glad you all love the thread arnt i a clever ickle polly for asking that 1 question?:rotfl: ive done the pirate theme for the 6yr olds card and i found a image on google images so i printed it off twice and did some decoupage it looks quite good so far so thankyou all for your help xxxx

I can't believe I've only just found this thread! I've been card making for about 4 years now, and it is sooooo addictive. I recently posted a thread on the "I wanna" board for glitter card, and mentioned to someone on there that it would be good if there was a separate thread for card-making, and here it is!
I mainly make decoupage cards, and am desperate to try and sell my cards somewhere, as I have got boxes full of them, it would be great to make some money out of my hobby! The other half is always moaning about how much stuff I have!

i just made my first card it was a slight disaster tho as i couldnt find any decent glue and i was in a rush so i used superglue and stuck my fingers together but its not bad... its for my dad it says "dads favourite things(with letters from rubbish the D is from diet coke bottle ect)
Then i ransacked a argos catalouge an got pics of things my dad likes like tools an car stuff and motorbike stuff then smack bang in the middle i put a picture of me in a wee coloured frame because im his favourite

emmzy your card sounds great im sure your dad will love it can you post a picture? my first card was a bit of a disaster too :rotfl: but with practise and help from my crafting buddies on here:p they got better and better isnt cardmaking so addictive?:rotfl:

Hi everyone this is the challenge schedule for the next 4 weeks. Monday 21st april Aperture Cards Monday 28th april Male cards young or old Monday 5th may Freestyle so you could emboss stamp waterfall card etc not everyone has all craft tools so this way people get to do what they want Monday 12th may Tissue paper challenge. I hope this schedule suits everyone???? just let me know either way love polly xxxx
