Fantastic cards Ikkle Totally love the one with fimo. I bought some a couple of weeks ago for making jewellery but not got round to using it yet so might have a go at putting it on cards too. It looks great well done:T :T

I have made two cards for this weeks challenge. This is the first one. I used wobbly eyes that I pinched :rotfl: out of the kids art box on the ghost.

And this is my other although the pumpkin looks a bit scarier:eek: than I would have liked. The photo makes the card look blue but it is in fact purple so you cant see the true colour contrast.

Lovely cards ikkle87 for contempory christmas cards i really like the top one very effective and love things with stars stuck on them ! :j

One quick question is when are the magazines with christmas cards ideas coming out ?. Or are they already out, I read about one called creativity wondered what was the best magazine in terms of clear instructions and not chock a bloc with adverts.

Are you making the christening card still rainmac ?

    many thanks

    b

I am still needing to make a Christening card. Think I am going to do a cross stitch one. Need more hours in my days to get everything done!

Just to let you all know, my mum is going to have her boob op next month and then 3 weeks of radiotherapy around Xmas time. She's still coping brilliantly, I'm so proud of her.

Just wanted to tell everyone about a sale that's on. Its at http://www.heidihicrafts.com/index.php?pr=Home_Page
postage is 1.95. She sells mainly embellishments, there's loads of paper flowers and ribbon really cheap. Plus I got some flat backed gems, I think it was 50 for 50p. Plus A6/c6 card blanks in cream or white with an envelope are 10p each. I've ordered the flowers before but never the card blanks so I'm not sure what thickness the card is, but for 10p each I thought it was worth buying a few anyway. Plus she has wired butterflies for 30p each and some nice sparkly buckles that would look great on a special project with some ribbon through. I spent 23.00 - oops!
Mary - what size letters were you after? I posted a link a few pages ago for a shop on ebay that has a lot of Karen Foster stickers, but she also sells alphabets for 99p. Would you like me to find a link?
Ikkle87 - great cards! I still haven't really made a start on my xmas cards.

Ooohhh, stop it, I mustn't look, ok just a little look then... :rotfl:

I needed to make a christening card and found this lovely free image i made it into a decoupage type card and put the dottie image over a larger "enjoy your special day circle". It looked really good even though a say so myself and a bit unusual. I actually couldnt believe i found the free image just as i needed it. lol. Scroll down and you will find the images i mean.

Glad you have heard something about your crafter companion ultimate. I went on their wesite this morning and noticed an advert for the Pro and when searching for the ultimate (thinking I might have got a reduced bargin) noticed that it has been removed totally off their list. I did wonder if you would get the new one. You got a really good deal :j then even though you had to wait a while. Sorry I cant help with the template but I am sure that you can do envelopes on the ultimate or is it urgent?

I went on to check if my competition entries had been put on as I sent them about 2 weeks ago by email but they still havent be put in the gallery:mad: . Has anyone else entered the onestop competition and still not in the gallery?
