Fantastic ATCs mumoftwo. My favourite is the shaker one - the check paper is lovely. Well I made an ATC last night, I found it quite difficult as you are working on a smaller area. Had a disaster though, while I was taking a few pictures of it I balanced it above the sink for a bit of better light and guess what - it fell in the sink and of course there was water in it. It is currently drying out on top of the tv.
Artymiss are doing another bargain this weekend. Its a mystery box - you can either get a card making one, a scrapbooking one or a general craft one. Each one is £25 but contains products worth £125, there is a longer thread on the grabbit board. I am very tempted to get the scrapbooking one, its supposed to contain albums!! Have you bought one yet Rainmac???????

No, sorry to disappoint but I haven't bought one and am not going to. I'm always really dubious about offers where you can't see the items but I have a generally suspicious nature anyway so don't that that put you off :D

If I had money to burn I would take the chance but I don't unfortunately.

Hope your ATC dries out nicely, looking forward to seeing a pic!

Mumoftwo, gorgeous ATCs!!! I love them both and can't decide on a favourite. Did they take you long to make? Did you approach making them as you would making a card?

Well done, they are fab :T

I still don't get the concept of these ATC thingys ... but I put that down to the fact I have only just started making cards. I think I might make a couple more tonight. I am in need of inspiration for a mans card. Needs to be done by tomorrow. It's my OH's best friend whom he has known for years and also used to own a drum shop ... any suggestions or pictures of cards you have made? please help I am struggling with this one!

I am poor at men's cards unless I find bits to put on related to a hobby.

Could you make a drum shape out of coloured card/paper, add light colour for drum top and cut out two drum sticks?

    Cut out a tie shape?

Do you have Word, look for men themed pics (beer, footie, snooker...) on ClipArt and print one off?

Fantastic!!! Just gone onto word and found a really good clip art pic. However I am now thinking of finding out what brands he used to sell and get a lovely pic from the good old wibbly wobbly web. :)

No didn't take long. And did think of a mini-card. I love shaker cards so I wondered if I could make it smaller. I am not sure if I get the whole ATC hype either, but see it a bit as a business card, or swapping cards like Pokemon, haha :rotfl: I think I'd rather stick with card making but might do a couple of baby ones to stick in my nappy cakes.;)

Rainmac - oh no you have let me down - I'd hoped you had ordered one before so that you could give me an idea of what you got in them.
Shaz-mum-of-2 - looks like your creativity has come back - a lovely selection of cards. My favourite one is the teddy - very cute. I also love the champagne one - I think the ice bucket is a great idea.
On one of the shopping channels when they were going on about ATCs they mention using an ATC as a large topper on a card.

    Hi
I am not a crafty person but have a daughter who is and we are slowly being taken over by all the sequins, stickers, ribbons, card, envelopes.......
Can anyone suggest where I would be best to buy a reasonable little set of plastic drawers to keep everything in? Would need to have drawers large enough for A4 sheets at least
    Many thanks

Hi Katyk, do you have an Ikea locally? These are fantastic and you can paint them up etc I have 2 sets both of mine I have had for years, one approx 8 years and the other about 4. They fit A4 paper and if you look they do other designs.
