I keep all my little fiddly bits in a little tool box (like the ones for retro sweet boxes) and all my A4 paper is kept in a box file together with all the offcuts that are in separate cellophane bags. One long drawer of a chest of drawers seems to be able to cope with it and I have the feeling if I had more space I'd just fill it up............spending more money in the process.........lolMary

No Ikea anywhere near us I am afraid, althou we do have a similar box bought many years ago in Lidl and painted. Still used but full to overflowing hence need for more.
Have given a quick try on our free cycle site first to see if anything is available, but many thanks for suggestions0 -
Check out Wilkinsons. Our local one has some tall plastic sets of drawers in varying sizes... Will check out the website and see if they have any...

Artymiss are doing another bargain this weekend. Its a mystery box - you can either get a card making one, a scrapbooking one or a general craft one. Each one is £25 but contains products worth £125, there is a longer thread on the grabbit board. I am very tempted to get the scrapbooking one, its supposed to contain albums!! Have you bought one yet Rainmac???????
I have been reading this thread for ages and so far only my 10 year old daughter has actually made any cards!!
I have also been looking at loads of stuff on the artymiss site and decided that as I was just starting out it would be worth buying the mystery boxes as I don't have many supplies yet. I'm not sure I would have bought any if I had loads of craft bits already.
Also if there are lots of things in there that I don't like/won't use/have doubles of already, I figure as I plan to give some to DD for Christmas I could probably make up 'craft kits' for some of her friends for Christmas and/or birthdays!
Will let you know what they are like when they come!!0 -
furrypig - oh yes let us know what you get in your mystery box.
polly1976 - the wedding bells are from a range of card making stuff from "buzzcraft". I got them from a site called "crafty bargains", you have to spend £14.99 before you get free postage. I've just remembered though they are on holiday until the 11th August. Here's the link anyway for the items: http://www.craftybargains.co.uk/products.aspx?PC=-1&CAT=159 I love the buzzcraft range because they do lovely matching backing papers. Also they do waterfall cards, decoupage sheets and icon sheets - and you can make loads of cards from them. I recently bought a few of the baby icon sheets and matching backing papers and made quite a few cards with them and they looked really nice: http://www.craftybargains.co.uk/products.aspx?PC=-1&CAT=161
I also bought some simple wedding toppers from the same place, they are quite small but they look really nice with just white and silver card to matt and layer. I took pictures of them to post on here but they didn't turn out too well. I thought they would suit people who like more traditional cards:0 -
There is a seller on ebay who is selling a pack of the buzzcraft wedding range - 8 backing papers and 2 icon sheets for £4.85 plus £1.75, works out quite a bit more expensive though. The item number is 170231792800.
Here's the wedding decoupage sheet : item number 170231802962, this is from a different seller, she has a bit of the buzzcraft range but no backing papers. The price is 70p plus £1.00 postage, but I have bought from her before and her postage discount is fantastic.0
