Not so much greeting cards but how about something for 'note cards' ? I've been thinking of doing something like that to add to one of my friends 'hampers'.................even might do some for my son -he likes The Beatles and stuff like that, the other son is into anything artistic.
My friend likes fairies. So there you go.............thats my suggestion unless you've got any birthdays coming up.Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

I am sorry I wasn't here for the challenge today, I had to work. What kind of challenge do you want? another male card? a flowery card, mums, dad, kids, babies, wedding? I did a commission wedding card for a civil partnership, there were only one or two naff ones in the shops so I was asked to make one. it was for 2 girls. All the other guests had just bought plain cards and my card was extremely well received. Or do you want something a bit different? Like a 3 D card?0

Ok here is a challenge for you for tonight..
Use something recycled...
I have used a chain and butterfly charm from an old broken bracelet, cut an aperture in the top part of the card, fastened the chain with two brads. Put nice paper inside the card, punched out three flowers, stuck them on with foam pads, glued on little buttons (recycled from my mum's craft box), stuck Best wishes peel off at the bottom.
Looking at it now on a pciture, I am not happy with it, I should have made the brads the centre of the flowers, I will see if I can change it.0 -
mumoftwo.........thats brilliant ! I bought a suede belt with flowers on I meant to make some cards with and didn't get around to it............now I feel more inspired..........also got a piece of brown suede fabric.........be alright for 'male' cards.............can't get too keen at the minute though.........we're off for a few days so I'll have to have a look when I get back Tuesday.
On the re-cycling theme - I found this site -www.CraftsbyCarolyn.co.uk it has a forum and a section on 'Altered Art'..........stuff you can make with old tins, decorative notebooks, CD cases -all sorts. Might be worth a look.Mary
