Thanks polly, glad to have you back again, we've missed you. Hope you are feeling OK now.

I've been having a think about future card themes and its quite tricky isn't it? You can't say 'everybody do rubber stamps' this week because some people haven't got them, you can't say, all do a wedding card, 'cos not everybody has a wedding to go to... It's quite a challenge thinking of the challenge isn't it? :D Maybe some weeks we might have to do a either/or..?

Hi, janeym8 you sound lovely, can't wait to see some of your creations.
Mary43 love both of your cards, my favourite is the boats. I think the sails look great, especially how they are curved - very clever.
Rainmac - what a pretty card, I like how the edges of the cross stitch are frayed, I've never seen that before, I've always seen cross-stitch mounted so that the edges are hidden.
Polly1976, great cards too. Did you buy the card blanks already embossed or did you do it yourself? I like the addition of the little gems too.

Thanks melissa75, fraying the edges takes much less time than mounting it into an aperture card (and often cheaper as you can use a normal card blank rather than an aperture card!). I like the effect, looks more homemade!!! :D

Thinking of you cards would be a good idea. I'm sure we all have occassions when a card like that is needed. I usually do a few blank ones so I've got some I can write that in.

Next weeks challenge might just give me some ideas for baby grandsons first birthday .............I'll rack my brain and think about that.
