Hi ILC
i bought this months too i wasn't overly impressed by the papers mine were all smudged from the printing process but the rest of it was excellent i have nearly used all the cards and have loads of bits left
Despite my slight qualms i have signed up for the subscription offer it works out about £6 month i figure i would spend that on the embellishments etc and the ideas were great and a free book

Hi
I have been reading this thread since it started and find it really interesting - you have all made some wonderful cards. I would like to make my own cards but don't know where to start. I don't feel I am arty enough to make a complicated card and think if I make a simple one it will look boring:rotfl: the other thing is I don't know what sort of things to look for so was wondering if this mag would be useful for a complete beginner and novice:Dsaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Bunbun2, I haven't got an artistic bone in my body. I can't draw and definately can't paint. Card making I think is more about matching colours. I haven't bought this magazine but it sounds like it would be a good place for you to start. There are loads of different products on the market and it can get quite confusing at times!!
My other advice would be to watch the shopping channels, there are loads of ideas and tips on there. QVC have a resident expert - Dawn Bibby who does a show on Tuesdays 2-4 its channel 630 on sky, and there is a create and craft channel which is about channel 660 or something. Thats how I got into card making through watching QVC when I was bored. I don't buy anything from there as it can be quite expensive, but its great for ideas and hints. If there's anything else you want to know just ask here!!!0 -
