Ideas for card craft beginner

My card was meant for when we decoupage really..................lol Trust me to get in all of a muddle...............!

Mary: My internet connection has been playing up something rotten for about a week now and I also get the : cannot find server message. But it is working this morning so better make the most of it.
Haven't done freestyle card yet, made 6 thank you cards yesterday, just small simple ones. Just busy with nappy cakes at the moment. But will do a card as soon as possible. :wave:

My card didnt get made yesterday, was busy making little dolls, so I am hoping to get it done today ~ sometime :A

Thanks for your knid wishes, I am feeling a bit better - just weak and drained today. Thanks Ellidee for reminding me about qvc, going to change channels now, but I've got to take son to nursery and I am going shopping after so I won't get to watch much - sulk!!!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone on here.
A huge thanks to PAP, for letting me know about this thread, as my DD has just started to make cards. I have just been reading the first few pages so will post later on.
I am looking forward to getting my teeth into this. I live near Botany bay and have recently been drooling over their kits, so i might end up taking over DD's hobby if not careful.

polly - I picked up a pack of cards and some embellishments from Wilkinsons but got a bit 'lost' in the 99p shop......................lol so came out with nothing.
Didn't have a great deal of time to spend round Wilkinsons really or look round any of the other shops.........still, I came back with something...........lol:rotfl:

Hiya Everyone, :wave: and welcome to the new posters. Thanks for informing me about QVC Ellidee - I was naughty and bought that fab eyelet tool! I love eyelets and I bet I'm gonna put them on everything when it comes! Problem with QVC is they take so long to deliver! :mad: They could learn a thing or two from Amazon...

Not done my card yet, tut, tut, but will do it soon. I'm in party prep mood at the moment tho' it's my younger son's 6th birthday party on Sat so I'm having to sort that out.

Look forward to seeing some more imput from the 'newbies'
