Pap that cards great and simple too
would it work with just a slot rather than the punched ends as i don't have a punch .
Has anyone on here ever hosted a workshop?
I have but not in cardmaking i used to do healthy eating workshops for community and voluntary organisations i got paid £150 for 2 hour session not sure if card craft would pay as much but worth looking into for those more experienced
Speaking of community groups we have a scrapstore in scunny you can fill a shopping basket for a fiver, all the stuff is collected from local business and further afield they do fabrics as well it costs a fiver a year to join ,if you have one near you check it out you can usually look around before you decide

also what about using a 5p as a template for the circle end? as long as its smaller than a 1p it will be fine
How about a sport one say a footy pitch and the ball as the moving object

Thanks for this weeks' challenge Polly,
What a coincidence PAP I also made a slider card for someone this week but learnt it ages ago, can't remember where from, probably a magazine, they are so cute, I love making them and I used a daisy punch to stick on the pennies. ( Great cards Shaz, you have been busy! I had a big clearout of my craft desk and stuff this week and now I can actually see my desk, I have filled 15 plastic take away tubs with bits and pieces (and no they weren't all filled with Chinese food at one point, you can buy them cheap at Asda)
Shaz, a cut out slot works great, that is what I did.0 -
Hello, everyone! I made this card today whilst watching Dawn Bibby on QVC. I don't buy anything -too expensive, I just watch for ideas. I will enter this for "freestyle" week in case I don't make any more. I love using oriental style products in card making. (Another card for all those pink lovers!).0

Fab card melissa75, is the girl 3D or decoupage? So pretty, whoever receives that is going to be thrilled! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Thanks rainmac, it is decoupaged, although you can't really tell from the picture. You get 6 of the full sized images to a sheet. Normally I get the decoupage which is already printed into the layers for you, but this one wasn't so I had to figure out which bits to layer.
I wondered if anyone watched Dawn Bibby, I loved the "at the zoo", scrapbook kit, I might have to give scrapbooking a go now I've got a digital camera. Need more money!!0 -
Shaz a slot will do fine. Try using dirrerent size money too ~ ie 5p or 2p. Its a brill card to make as well as give. Wow yes a footbal one would be brill... ohh you may have given me an idea hehe.
mum of two ~ :rotfl: I love following tutorials and monicas work is fab thats why I did this one. A great card though eh.

I so love your card, where did you get the decoupage sheets from? I thought it looked layered from the photo, very effective!
I didn't watch DB (wanted to but boys had other ideas!) but am about to start my first scrapbook to give to my dad for Father's Day with pics of my boys. Not doing one for OH as he won't appreciate it and boys have already decorated a plate for him. I've had my scrapbook stuff for a few weeks now but still haven't got started as I'm not sure what to do, how to lay it out. I bought a small scrapbook (6x6) from ebay and have collected papers, stickers, tags, ribbon and my photos. I've tried to have a play at laying out some pages but I'm stuck! Once I get started I'm sure it will be fine. My real problem is how to organise the album - do I do it chronologically or by theme (e.g. both boys as babies, both turning 1 etc). All ideas most welcome!!! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
This looks like a good place for scrapbooking i have used it to download background papers too
