The 'authentic' American redneck way would be to wrap securely in several layers of tinfoil along with some veg and liquid, then find a way of firmly attaching the parcel to the car engine and go for a long drive... Potatoes can be done the same way. The heat from the engine cooks the food. I seem to recall a website which gave recipes and driving times for various dishes!! I am sure google could tell you more if you were interested.
Never tried it, especially not with squirrel, but the concept intrigues me.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0
