I have a good job thank you very much, that pays the bills and keeps us in food.
I also enjoy the challenge of selling things on ebay for more than I payed for them, whether it be stuff I buy at a car boot sale, or sale items in shops. Its more of a hobby than a "knock-off nigel" business, but it brings me in an extra little income which I spend on the kids. If that makes me a tw*t in your book then I sympathise with you.

When everyone has the same attitude as you there'll be nothing ever left for you to buy cheap and sell on.

I hope you're the person who *really* needs something one day, and you see it advertised cheap. You go to buy it, only for there to be none left and you see one git stood at the till with a trolley full bragging how he's going to sell them all on ebay. But you actually *needed* this item and he was just there to fill his wallet and never use them himself.

Luckily for you it seems you have a job so you'll never be in that situation yourself - at least have a thought for people less well off than yourself - moneysaving isn't about greed. :A

As a small businessman myself, trying to make a living.... I am appalled at the current attidude and rudness of "customers" these days.

I can imagine some of the assistants day in Currys yesterday, over this issue.

The rudest/impolite being those "customers" thinking to buy and sell on ebay.

I think "wumtastic" must be having a good chuckle.....perhaps he's having his revenge on the "consumers"

Was talking in general  Could be for example a breast pump, nappies, bed or a fridge freezer - but if you go for the "does someone *really* need something" argument can go on forever, it can be argued people do not need a computer, TV, fridge freezer, cooker, bed or clothes - but nearly everyone has one.

So by your reckoning if someone were to see an opportunity to buy something and sell on for a profit they should just walk on by because they don't really need it?

Unfortunately where I live (in real world) that's never going to happen.

    Hello again.

My best mates a manager at Currys and he's saying this Sat Nav goes on sale tomorrow for 97p.

Its old stock and will still be advertised at £69.99 (Staff won't change it as they want it for themselves).

You'll have to take it to the till and ask for a price enquiry..

shoulnt the oline site say its £0.97p as at the mo it says £69.99p ? or is it going to be 0.97 p from tomorow ?????

AFAIK it never went down to 97p.
Wins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)
