Why would 7 MSERs 'thank' the OP?

Surely you would wait to see if it was a genuine offer 1st?

Actually, that gives me an idea to get limitless thanks :)

They must have thought it said "spank the op";)

I've also got a friend who works at PC World, and he can see Curry's system. This is indeed a load of !!!!!!!! - there's no such reduction.

On a related note, though, he told me that the wave of 97p games that hit Currys actually hit PC World about three days ago.

That's true, Currys price reductions on a Sunday are followed by Pcworld the following Thursday.

One good thing - this gets the tw@ts that think it's good to buy stuff cheap and sell it on ebay or at the car boot all excited.

So everyone who buys bargains & sells them is a t**t?? (I guess you would not make a very good businessman!)

For me personally, yeah I would have bought a few & sold them on ebay...make a bit of money at the expense of the big boys. Consumer revenge, as it says on Martins big logo!

There's a difference between consumer revenge and outright greed and ignorance to make money that deprives other people who actually want the item.

If you want to make some money get a job or set up a proper business. I would make a great business. People tend to turn to a business because they have good customer relations and service, and provide the services or goods they require - a one man band selling random stuff as and when it turns up like Knock off Nigel down the pub will never do particularly well. Any *real* business could not rely on buying random crap that turns up cheap and selling it with the overheads of staff and premises.

I have a good job thank you very much, that pays the bills and keeps us in food.
I also enjoy the challenge of selling things on ebay for more than I payed for them, whether it be stuff I buy at a car boot sale, or sale items in shops. Its more of a hobby than a "knock-off nigel" business, but it brings me in an extra little income which I spend on the kids. If that makes me a tw*t in your book then I sympathise with you.

So you are extremely happy to unnesscesarily, ( just for kicks), deprive someone local to you, yet less well of than yourself, from getting something they may desperately need, but can ill afford?........................................:T

Mrs T would be really proud of you. ;)
