Some people seem to get the WG111v1 to work. Others don't. Perhaps the kernel version matters.

Using a non-native driver would be sufficient to for me to look for an Atheros or Ralink based solution, particularly if it was turning into a struggle to get going.

Gutsy Gibon on a Toshiba laptop, everything works except that I have two audio devices showing up and they are conflicting. Tried all the usual stuff nothing works its a Realtec HD Audio dev. Thanks

It's not just that.

My laptop I'm currently on has built in Broadcom wifi and it works. My lads Dell uses a Broadcom based PCMCIA wifi adapter which is the same chipset as my laptop but it doesn't work.

I gave up after wasting a day on it and put XP back on.
