:rotfl: fac, yes I do well when goals are involved its when I am 'set lose'anything can happen :rotfl: I feel really happy and positive these past few days. Dont know why but I hope it lasts
Glad to see you still around. Hope baby elliot (well not so much of a baby now) isnt working you too hard, he still looks as cute as ever
Thanks gem, I know this works and I have kept it off (apart from 9ish lbs). When you talk to people about counting callories they say its the hardest of all but I find it simple. I think the hardest bit of all is having a down day and turning to food, I cracked this last time and I am going to succed again. Also it will help my pocket anyways as I stop taking cash to work to stop me spending on food :rotfl: So here we go time to change in more ways than one :A Hope you are ok. Have you made your decission yet?0 -

Thnanks beanie, I know I can I did it before. Its just doing it again
Well I weighed in and I am 16st 10lbs... so working on the 2st/28lbs goal that should bring my weight down to 14st 10lbs :j So here goes, week one starts today, need to sign back into my online weight management programme thinge. It costs £9.50 per month, its not much compared to weight watchers @ £5 a week but it works out all my calories for me ie if I had 1 tablespoon of pickle it would know the calories. Saves a lot of hard work from me... so here we go wish me luck :rotfl:0 -
good luck with the weightloss, you can do it! I'm currently on a diet, so I'm with you every step!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Hi Pap
Good luck with the weight loss, I've every confidence you'll do it and I really like the idea of the piggy banks!
Just out of interest, I'm not sure which weight loss programme you use, but have you had a look at http://www.foodfocus.co.uk? It sounds very similar to the one you've been using, ie calories worked out for you, all well known branded foods listed (as well as unbranded versions), option to record excerise etc, support groups, but it's completely free. Just thought it may save you £9.50 a month, which would help towards your holiday funds!
Anyway, feel free to ignore me if it doesn't suit!

Good luck with the weight loss Pap, you sound very determined and focussed so I am sure you will get there!

No not made a decision yet but I have a week or so yet
I'm on a very dull diet at the moment, at least with calorie counting if you really need a teeny bit of chocolate you can have it. Exclusion diets form bad habits. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Thanks all
sf, good luck on your weightloss too. Its a hard journey though, nevermind we shall both do it :j
bdmum, Thanks so much for that link. I have looked at that one before but last time I couldnt find a forums etc etc. The one I use, I just find it user friendly and the support amazing. I know being dfw I should go for the cheap/free one but I know using this website works and to me £9.50 a month isnt 'that' much. Thanks for helping though
step, I shall do, having a goal/targets work well for me so i am guessing working towards my holiday will help.
gem, awww has bumping your diary helped at all? You really must decide beacuse its what you want to do, no one else. I know its very hard though and I hope it gets easier as the week passes. Awww sorry to hear you are on a dull diet. I think thats what I like about calorie counting, nothing is out of bounds :rotfl:0 -
I think I'm just going to quit my current job regardless, I can't physically do it and I don't want to mentally. Only problem is I need to give four weeks notice and I really need the 5th July off, so if I hand in my notice now I'm liable to be made to work that day. Hmm... nothing's ever simple is it :rolleyes:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130
