The reason it gets to you that the chavs down the road freeload on the dole is because you know you can do better. You pay your own way and work hard and you can be a chooser - people want people willing to work hard and honestly. You just need to believe in yourself and realise you can and will do better. You want better, that's why you are here, you are doing something off your own back, that's unusual and that's your secret weapon.
Awww barney (hugs). I guess thats it, thats what I am like. I dont believe in 'using' the system. If I am well enough to work I should be working, be that MP, bottle collecter, actress or dustman, I work. When I was out of work my mother had to push me kicking and screaming to the job centre to get jsa (what I had payed into for years). The dole/benifits isnt me ~ if I can work I will work. I will and shall do better and that day will come soon, I just need to do exactly that believe in myself and believe I can get better ~ that day will come.I keep my internet banking details written down and saved on a password safe programme so that doesn't happen, couldn't bear not to have it :rotfl:
I like your compromise
Well see Gem I am on tehre at least once a day so I know them off by heart however my mind works faster than my little fingers some times and I entered them wroing twice ~ sooo a new activation code needs to be recived. I can take out £10 for next weeks spends and thats it ~ well its one way to save money.Goals are good, but its time to have a 'life' and sitting infront of a computer is all well and good as long as thats not only what you do. I have become some what of a hermit but now I have things planned ~ starting tuesday.
Ohhh one card made :j0 -
So glad that you have thngs planned hun as you are only young once!

Glad you have got some things planned Pap, you're such a nice person, it would a shame to 'waste' your personality by staying in all the time.
 at he online banking! I use Egg Money Manager and cannot remember my access codes anymore (before EMM I could recite them all one by one) so needless to say if EMM goes caput, I am stuffed! Hope they come soon, I don't know about you, but I get very nervous when I can't get on my banking sites!
I still have those bags if you want them (don't worry if you don't) yuo just need to pm me your address...
Started to read the PCOS book, its' pretty good actually, lotso f stuff I need to change in terms of diet, my entire diet consists of the stuff they tell you not to eat! Having a look at Slimming World too, but I don't think the two will be compatible, so will have to see with that.
Hope you have a great day

I had to re-activate my Internet Banking too, didn't take too long to get it sorted, although would've been quicker if i didn't have to go into my local branch to change some errors they had made on their system , thankfully it's all done now.
About the socialising, you most definitely need to go out at times, doesn't have to cost a lot of money either. Staying in all the time will eventually "get to you", it's nice to have something to look forward to each week.0 -
beanie ~ thanks :A
sarah ~ Well thats it, its going to be nothing magical but it will be something for me to do. Planning a walk around my mall (havent been there for over a year) on tuesday with a friend and then some food. And then later in the month I think said friend and another friend (all work collegues) will be going out for a sit down meal. Not too bad eh, means a lot of riening in on spending though because I havent got much to play with.
Well the internet banking is letting me in todayand I managed to transfer my £100 to savings
Maybe it was having an off day :rotfl: We shall see.
Yep thats what I thought about the book when I read it, however I found it contradicted itself in places. I dont think I will be following that just yet as its far too restricting. However I will take things onbaord like sugars/fats.
Take care :A
babes ~ @ the bank, not good. Yes I feel it has 'got to me' I last went out before xmas (except at the meet)... ummm not good. Going to try and do something each week if I can, even if its just a walk on my own in a nature park or walking home from work, to get me out a bit. Thanks hun

Well done all my shuffaling and now this is my soa for the remainder of the month (some bills have been payed etc)
£65.00 ~ BT
£11.00 ~ house insurance
£25.00 ~ bus cards
£9.50 ~ WLR
£25.00 ~ Halifax ~ locked
£25.00 ~ Halifax ~ web saver
£12.00 ~ monthly kit
£59.97 ~ pre order wiifit
£20.00 ~ Thomas jabs
total = 252.47
My accounts look like this, Bills ~ £252.96 & Spends ~ £59.52. So that means I have £55 to last till the 15th. I think that will be fine as I am not in work for a week and I only have two outings planned. Also I have my wiifiit arriving next friday so I defianlty dont need anything. I pushed everything extra into my savings and this is what I will live on for the month. I think I can 100% do this.
I have also put together a sample soa for next month and that totals £307.00 for the month so if i dont take anything from my busniess account this month (ie I dont have to repay it next month) which I am determind not to! I will have £443  disposable :rotfl: one extream to the other. Anyways one tight month = one slack month... so 26days and counting :j
Ohhh and made 3 cards this morning0 -
Sounds very productive to me! How is the card selling going? Good I hopeBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

 @ council estates! I have blinds in my room (black out blinds) and for years I have had them closed and would have no daylight in my room. However for months and months I have had my blinds open. However some lovely teenagers think its approprite to stand in the street behind my house and make offensive gesters to me through my window  Now apart from living in a pitch black room which I will not do I will now need to buy some net curtains  however I hve seen some in the local £1 shop so you never know :rotfl:0

PaP - that is disgusting. Do you not have a local PCSO ?I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Have no idea  I think we do but they are never seen anywhere. I dont think children are brought up to respect people anymore ~ which is a shame. If I were to do that when I was younger I would have had a sore backside for weeks. Anyways mum got some wire and some nets from the £1 shop. They cost £3 a net and £1.50 for some wire. I gave her some money for it but she wouldnt take it. We are putting them up soonI wouldnt be so worried but my pc is right in the corner where said window is
