on this note, do you pronounce it "anty" or "arnty". I say the latter and my DP says the former, we can never agree!

Arnty. I think it depends where you come from. Anyway, Brummies say Arnty.0 -

i tend to use Aunty, although my best mate, my dd calls her aunty, she signs the card Auntie/xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

I have always used Auntie. Have just checked in dictionary and either version is correct, although the plural is Aunties.0

I spell it Auntie, but I pronounce it Untee (can't spell it untie, because I don't pronounce it as untie lol - it's untee!
