Hi There,
Just a quick question
Do you spell it Auntie or Aunty?
My family always spell it Auntie, I have a Jewish friend who spells it Aunty. I'm really interested by this.

I use Auntie.
Although my cousin uses Aunty.
Don't suppose it matters much, more personal choice but I think Auntie looks nicer (don't ask me why though!).0 -
I spell it Auntie
Auntie conjures up an image of a happy smiling lady whereas Aunty conjures up a lady with hair in a bun a sour face and a tweed skirt.0 -
auntie, don't take my word for it but i'm dyslexic!!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

I always use Auntie.
Aunty just doesn't look right to me, but that's just my personal opinion.0 -
auntie here
Aunty looks like a rude swear-word for some reason (don't ask, my mind works in odd ways sometimes)
