Hello. Is It just me or do some of the links down the left hand side not work? I keep getting page can not be displayed. When I try and go to the main site not the forum. I get redirected to a search like page. If It isn't only me who shall I contact to let them know about this if they don't already or will they read it here?

Message on screen says 'Excess traffic means the main site has crashed, you're in the Chat Forum. '0

and at the moment the style sheet formatting (if that's what it is - apologies to web designers, etc) seems to be out as well, so this is all in different font, look, etc0

I accidentally fixed this, without realising how for a while. Then duplicated it when someone in the Arms asked, then had to figure out how.
It might be simpler than I thought. The main site has crashed. The forum site is being duplicate hosted on the main domain (well that's what it looks like to an amateur like me), which might explain speed improvement as well.

Of course, if everyone reads this and switches, that could affect how many log into each (and get me in trouble?)0 -
My guess, in total ignorance, is that the radio 2 message is a factor in messing up the alignment of headings/styles etc under IE and Firefox . Amazingly the site still works.

lol...it could be that or it could be the fact that someone has played around with the forum and has not put the stylesheet location in the right place on the the forums.m.
ie forums.moneys... looks here for the css stylesheet->
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/clientscript/vbulletin_css/style-e4dfb65b-00002.css
which doesnt exist but the other board calls a css which does exist....shouldnt take 2 secs for someone to make a quick fix for the time being??0 -
Is there a way of imposing a missing style sheet or whatever on a website at the browser end ?

dunno, but unlikely; stylesheets contain formats - the browser has some default settings, like font choice and size, but I'd say that's it for you and me.
back to normal now anyway0 -
I got the lines back that divide things up neatly at 10:55pm I did not realise exactly what was missing. Well done the MSE team.
