  • I tried to book a lesson but one club I phoned said they had been included on the basis that they sold Nestle products and were not involved in the offer. However another only did the lesson on a group basis.
Any golfers out there looking for some advice to sharpen their game ..... this is not for you!

Just called the local Golf Course which was listed as participating in the scheme - The Professional there knew nothing about it.

Nestle had better do some serious sorting out...and soon!

They will no doubt change the website and stick a few more disclaimers in.

Last time i booked a couple of these golf sessions for OH (different offer) the golf club rang up the day before saying the instructor was off sick(!?). I guess people who book these are not given any great priority.

They can stick all the disclaimers on they want. However I purchased these eggs in order to take lessons with my local golf pro. He knows nothing about this scheme. I do not wish to travel 20 miles for an alternative. Loss of bargain is ringing a bell here

Nestle today revealed it had temporarily suspended an online booking facility because of the problem, and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
A spokeswoman said that the company had launched a brand new "experience Easter egg," which offered consumers the opportunity to try a number of activities at over 1,000 venues across the UK.
"We are aware that there is an issue with one of the activities offered and therefore we have temporarily suspended our online booking facility," she said.
"In the meantime, consumers are encouraged to call the promotions helpline to book their experience on 01525 844535 between 9am and 5pm.
"Nestl! has acted responsibly and apologises if any consumers or activity providers have been inconvenienced and is working to remedy the situation as quickly as possible."
The KitKat activity experience egg, selling at £4.99, contained a certificate offering opportunities for activities such as golf and canoeing lessons.
The British Canoe Union said it had not received any communication from Nestl! asking whether it or individual canoeing clubs wanted to take part.
"Nestle's customer care team have said that letters went out to canoe clubs regarding the promotional activity and if clubs did not respond, Nestl! took that to mean that clubs wanted to participate in the promotion!" it said in a statement on its website.
It said the British Canoe Union would be making a written formal complaint.

I found this thread by keywording kitkat offer!

The Aero offer is even betterfor us girlies! Anyway, at Tesco they are flashed up at 2 for 8.00, when I checked my receipt I got them on BOGOF. So 4.99 for 2 eggs, 2 vouchers.

Make sure the Eggs, you buy DO contain the voucher, as not all 5.99 eggs do.
