just contacted nestle customer services...
They Don't Know What To Do!!!! Logged My Call And Will Pass It On But 'particpating' Companys Have Complained That They Had Too Many Phone Calls About The Vouchers So They Are Now Trying To Think Of What To Do??? Follow The Contact Us Link At The Bottom Of The Web Page And They Will Ask You How Many You Bought And Where You Are0 -
Just rang the number on the website, which is a geographical number-they then gave me an 0870 number to ring. Spent about 5-10 mins on phone to them-they are saying they sent opt out letters to all the companies involved,if they didn't send the letter back they were opted in,but they say the number of companies that have a problem is minimal. They seem to be saying that too many people going on the site and it has CRASHED.
HOWEVER, I enquired briefly about availability in one area I know is a bit remote (Norfolk) where I was sending a couple of eggs to neices and nephews. They told me one of the activities was "Hillwalking",I pointed out as there are NO hills in Norfolk that was unlikely.. er no they said ..er angling...!!!,ho hum..they suggested going back on the site when its up and running.. I wouldn't waste time and money ringing them at the moment..0 -
Hi, as I said in my previous post our club was listed completely without our permission or knowledge with an out of date (private residential) address. They may have sent letters out but saying we were given an opt out is not good enough. The majority of the clubs they have been listed are amateur clubs run by volunteers who have a personal interest in the sport or activity. Whilst most clubs will offer new participants some sort of free or low cost trial without the need to buy an Easter egg, I think that few are equiped or have enough volunteers to participate in a promotion such as this. I feel totally abused by Nestle.0

Looks like the marketing company they are using is going to get a kick up the bum.0

I'm also highly amused - such a large company making such a monumental c*** up must be funny0

I have just phoned them also. The website is down and will not be back up until late next week! That is appaling.
I phoned the 01525 844535 number and they told me to phone 0870 4460242 in order to book something. The people on the 0870 number stated that they use the same website, but have a backup spreadsheet of the companies involved.
I enquired about Clay Pigeon shooting. You get the following:-
15-25 clays dependant on the site participating
Safety Brief
Use of Gun/equipment
Unfortunately, there is nothing near where I live. They were running through the list of counties, but unless you know what counties border yours, you better wait until the site is backup.
They also said that today they are booking for 1st-2nd week in April and you need to give then 3 days in which thay tey and book. However they said that are busy and this weekend may push April out until May.0 -
I wander how much they are making on the 0870 number!0

Along the lines of the Kitkat Easter Egg offer of a free activity with a gift card. If you buy the Aero Easter Egg for the same price you also get a gift card for a mini pamper session - all I ask now is that the hunky chap that advertises Aero on the telly does the session or is that too much to hope for
I spotted both eggs in Woolworths today.0 -
