Free activities when you buy a Kit Kat Easter egg

11 March 2008

What's the deal?

Nestle is giving away free activities when you buy Kit Kat Easter eggs, and free pampering sessions when you buy Aero eggs. Eggs cost £5-ish and you can do anything from climbing and windsurfing, to treating yourself to a facial or manicure. The only problem is whether the activity centres are in a convenient location for you.

How to get your free activity

1. Browse the Nestle free Activity site first, to check if you have a venue near you. There are different offers for both Kit Kat and Aero eggs, so have a look at the selection to see which egg you need.

MSE update 17 Mar - the internet site is temporarilty unavailable at the moment but should be back tomorrow. In the mean time you can call 01525 844535 to make a booking.

2. Grab one of the promotional Kit Kat or Aero eggs, these should cost about £5-ish (click reply to post if you find it cheaper somewhere).

3. Call your chosen venue to book, quoting the “Nestle Kit Kat/Aero gift certificate offer”.

4. Go to the venue, and hand over the gift certificate that was inside the egg.

5. Eat your Easter egg! It’s tough, this MoneySaving lark…

Terms and conditions

You must book by 1 May 2008 and take your session by 30 September 2009. The offer’s open to over 18s only.

Unfortunately, as all the activities are provided by different companies they all have different rules. So it’s best to call them first and confirm exactly what they’re offering and how many people you can bring. Read the full T&Cs

P.S Thanks to MoneySaver strawberry laces below. This post was inserted to so we could give people the full lowdown. Top spot!

  • This seems really cheap to me. I do my asda shopping online and ordered one just to see if I would get charged more when it was delivered. I wasn't and it clearly sates on the back its a free gift and entitles the bearer to one free gift of windsurfing, kayakeing, canoeing, clay pigeon shooting, orienteering zorbing, polo, karting or fishing at selected venues (dont know the venues I've not opened the box)

offer open to aged 18 +

Bookings must be made by 01.06.08 and completed by 30.09.08

depending on the salon you can have a massage, manicure, pedicure or facial.
Consumers may only claim one free treatment at any one particiapting salon. (otherwise id buy a truckload to use at the salon down the road!!)

The activity voucher includes a choice of one of the following... canoeing/kayaking,fishing,polo,zorbing,clay pigeon shooting,golf,sailing,climing/orienteering,karting and windsurfing.
  • just to note that if you have a nectar card, you can get one of these free gifts for free. The offer closes today. However 1) most of the best ones have already gone and 2) once you factor in the costs of actually getting to the location, it's hardly worth it. I suspect it would be the same with these gift certificates.

Having bought 1 of these at £4.99 in tesco I rushed in to Asda today and bought 4 more all for teenage boys. I hadn't realised these are for adults (18+) only:mad:   .
My 13 yr old is desperate to try zorbing:eek: ...
In my asda they were being sold under teen eggs along with smarties etc so I'm really annoyed. I have phoned and they have said they will take them back but I think Nestle are really cheeky not making it absolutely clear on the box that this isn't suitable for children.
When I rang, I was told its to do with insurance...
I hope there won't be too many disappointed young people this easter who don't get the details until they have opened their egg.
  • Oh I am so pleased! There is next to nothing for about 20 miles from where I live but I there is a salon 1 mile away included in this offer! :D

I have done the same thing, brought them for my teenage nephew and brought a spare one so he can take a friend and now only by reading this thread found out is for adults. Should be on the box for adults only.
