I think I'll have to put this particular complaint to bed, do as you say, and write to CS for some form of confirmation. Somewhere on Boots online, there's a skincare specialist, or similar, that you can consult, but I haven't been able to find it yet.

When I've mentioned the problem to any SA willing to listen , I've always come away with the thought that they think I'm 'trying it on', when in fact, most of it's unused, and I don't want a refund. Just a giftcard and advice would do really.

I had a look in the biggest Boots near me for the hatbox one the day after someone posted about it being free, there weren't any, but they did have lots of the red box type ones....the last one, can't remember what was in them, but they were current then, so didn't try it, I am going near there tomorrow so if there are any there then, I might try it.

tbh surely your rection to the P&P is no diff to people's recent reaction the No7 mascara. Have you rung CS they may give you a ref no ( they do give them out gave me one the other day) I exchanged mascara no problem so you should. Try No7 consultant at Kingston retail she is lovely and as mad as a hatter:rotfl: bet you'll have no problem with her.

ps Passion there is a Sanctuary Hatbox on Ebay. Trying your technique sitting on my hands but a pesky finger keeps hovering over the buttons:rotfl:

did you manage to get one ...as i also had the 1500 oral b & 300 points boots coupon for replacements heads if u need it

just noticed them on sale in boots 1/3rd off ....did you manage to get the it at 1/3rd off as well as using the 1500 points coupon ...saw one around £33 online

Does anybody want 2 testers of loreal foundation? they're little tubes, not sachets. one colour is cocoa , the other a caramelly colour. would suit darker skin. i got these in a job lot on ebay but my skin is fair! erm to keep it on topic...if you liked it you could buy the full size in boots!:D

Ruby, I honestly daren't touch the new mascara as my skin seems to be getting even more sensitive than it was before. I've been having baths with nothing but water and some mild soap, and broke out in a new rash which I can only presume was from a bra that possibly had nickel in the uplifter part I had to go out as a 'liberated' woman today - didn't exactly burn the bra, just left it off! :rotfl: But it did mean keeping my jacket zipped up. I was sweltering lol.

There's a particularly nice SA at KR that I found too, but I'll see what happens after I mail CS. Thanks anyway Ruby x
