Sorry not read all the replies but why are you paying £355 for a car that you only put £35 of petrol in PCM? Really to me that is just not quite right.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0

Thanks Sparky! I have listed quite a bit but still have piles to put on, will hang on until the weekend.
OH fills tank up whenever he uses it so I never seem to have to put much in. Also I drive about a bit for work and I get 40p a mile. Although when I drive home for visits (Scotland), it would normally be around 100 quid in petrol but if I tie in with a work visit, I actually make around 150 quid! Hi!
In regards to your travel costs - is your season ticket a travelcard as well - (does it allow you tube travel within your zones?) I don't know if many people are aware of this, but if you have a travelcard for ANY zones, then you can use the buses for free throughout all the zones!
I avoid the zone 1 charges, like you, and then jump on a bus if I do need to go into the centre. Saves loads each month and I know my way around London much better now compared to when I always went underground.
Apologies if you already knew this, or if it's not appropriate.0 -
I found a three month free trial for lovefilm so going to cancel mine and take out in boyfriend's name. The do tesco one in both names and then blockbuster........
I think so.......I get the DLR for the second part of my journey and a friend stopped me paying on the bus not long ago and she was like ummm your season ticket which you have had for three years now? It works on the bus. I was like ohhhhhhhhhhh, what a muppet! My only problem is when I get the tube and I come out and there is no barriers, I sometimes forget to swipe out and it charges me a mad fare.Make £10 a day challenge - £21.00/£290

I notice above that you say you are still to do free bingo.... Sorry to have to break it to you but a lot of the sites have withdrawn the free money & to get any kind of bonus you have to now deposit first making it pretty much rubbish!0

I've noticed that. I'm rubbish at it anyway. Won 17 on my first go but depositing 20 put me off and I ended up losing the 17 anyway!Make £10 a day challenge - £21.00/£290

Good day today. Went for long walk at lunch to help with my weightloss plan (1 stone to shift). I fell off the Weightwatchers wagon a while ago.
Posted four ebay parcels for OH so no spend there. My turn to buy Starbucks today at work for me and friend so 6 spent. Ridiculous I know but we only get about once a week.
Went into tesco on way home to buy lentils and came out with tenners worth. Bought a new book which was 4. There was stuff for lunch there too so no spend tomorrow hopefully. My boss and I bring in books we have read and swap, there is a bit of library forming under my desk! Saves me quite a bit as we have same tastes in 'chick lit'. Decided I spend too much on convenience food when I'm tired, get delayed on train, any excuse really so I thought at the weekend I will cook a load of spaghetti bolognaise, casseroles etc and pop in freezer. Easily save me 10 quid a week.Make £10 a day challenge - £21.00/£290
