Yep, me too! Got the full works - SPD, backache and absolutely shattered!!! Oh well, we'll get there in the end!

I've got a load of those JML vacuum bags if you want them -you know the ones - fill 'em up, shove the hoover nozzle in them and it reduces the amount of stuff inside by about 3/4! Found them under a bed the other day and won't be needing them as there DEFINITELY won't be a baby No 3 around here - if you can use them for your baby stuff you're welcome, just give us a shout.
  • What do people find better, a 3 days listing or a 5 day. Any tips would be great.

I have made £33.49 so far of my £150 target. I listed five items yesterday and will be listing more. My original aim was to list 5 items a day, but that hasnt happened yet.

I always list for 10 days as you tend to get more views on your item, hopefully more watchers and bidders, but I think it depends what you are listing. I often list on a Thursday too for 10 days so it runs over 2 weekends which is meant to be the busiest time
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

I totally agree with that - the longer it's on the more people will see it. It hasn't happened so much lately, but Ebay used to crash quite a lot on Sunday evenings as everyone was on then, so instead of gaining more bids you'd sometimes find you got less as nobody was able to bid on your item! I try and avoid Sundays now for that reason, just in case!

Also depends on what you're listing - if you're selling highly expensive designer clothing, chances are that most of your potential buyers are out clubbing on Fri/Sat evening so that's not the best time to finish your auctions for those items. Stay-at-home mums are often around in the mornings when the kids are at school so a good time to sell kids clothes/toys etc, as you've got less competition since most people automatically end their listings in the evenings - I always just think about who's most likely to be buying what I'm selling and take it from there!

Looks like everyone is doing really well. I'm up to 50 items - but am very bored!!! I've about 10 more items to list, but as the starting prices are going to be more than 99p i'm going to list them later in the week.:p Apart from the extra money, I'm sooooooo excited about the space I'm clearing!!!

Me too - getting square eyes but keep thinking about the (potential) money :D 7 more items of clothing and 20 little bits and pieces to go and then I'm finished. Although I bet I end up scouting around the house for more after lunch

I always list for 7 or 10 days, as everyone else has said, it gives people more chance to see your items... I usually try and get it so that I have a doy off work one or two days after the listings finish, so that I can get them all wraped and dispatched in one go - the man in the Post Office always cringes when he sees me in the queue :D

We're 9 days into March so am I too late to join this challenge? I've got a few bits and bobs to sell on Ebay but can never be bothered to create listings for them!!! This challenge is just the motivation I need. I've got no idea how much the stuff is worth so I think i'll go for a lowish target of £75 and anything above that is a huge bonus.
