  • Well done asset.

the ebay issue is sorted - somehow the buyer had sent the payment to the wrong account (.com rather than.co.uk) I really dont know how this has happened as i have recieved other payments through ebay without any issues.

Ive checked my account and it all seems correct???

Anyways, i also managed to sell some more stuff on ebay but im just only going to make about £2 profit per item (a load of old teddies.) Ill work it out when i get home tonight based upon the payments that ive recieved and update the total.

Best thing is the flute is sorted after sitting in my cupboard for years and years and thats a whole £200 towards this month - its so not going to be this easy next month!!

Unless i sell hubby online, now there is a thought lol

couldnt wait until tonight - ive worked it out and ive made £195 profit on all of the ebay items. Just need to get them posted out now. Off to update my sig

Well done puzzled - you're practically there for March!!!!

ohh everyone is doing so well! i need to get ma behind in gear or i'll never make it!

Just back from my stint at the Charity shop. I go in when its mums on shift to help out, no-one my age (24) helps out and its a lot of work for the older staff to take the bags of donated stuff out to the shed so i do it.
a house was cleared and all the videos/books were taken in and of 3 the videos were of a, ehh how do i say this, they were of a very adult nature! would common sense not make you think a charity shop is the last place these should be lol!

Anyhoo, decided to arrange a local craft fair to raise finds for the local historical society. no1 else seems bothered to do anything which is frustrating.

OK, back onto topic (Sorry for straying) i found 10p whilst out for a walk. off to list stuff on ebay right now.

To Cowtipping - I have a CD with a song called 'Cowtipping' on the last track....... its in the car out in the stormy rain and I've forgotten who its by - think its a combo including Norah Jones......they sing about Lou Reed being seen cowtipping - is this you?

My life is possibly not as exciting as that of Lou Reed's.

the hamster race is soooo addictive! theres 8 of them dressed up, (virtual of course not real) Elvis won me £3 lol!

Not many people in this community does anything to raise funds yet complains that local charities have no money all the time! its very infuriating! plus it means i can sell my stuff too since the craft fairs in the town dont start until may. :D i'm going to make wee easter gift baskets too, ive been inspired by the gift basket thread!

ps/ anyone heard from Panda today?

Have you sorted out the postage? Its possible to make a bit more profit - or a bit less - when you've sorted out what you actually had to pay and what the buyers paid.......
  • Hi Everyone, I'm back

Sorry, what with a weekend of constant mummy taxi and then the weather and no power for 16 hours I haven't had a chance to update for a while. I'm not doing very well with the challenge this month - will have to sort out and update soon. Have put everyone on my list that has asked to join the challenge (I think) if you look at post #44 you will see if I ave added you. When BatGirl gets a chance she will copy it into post #1
