MoneySaving - the Game

On my 4th attempt at this game I just got on a winning streak- I fed the baby, and ate my dinner while playing, but then I had to bail out as I have to put the kids to bed and I've wasted half the evening. I don't play computer games as a rule! At last count I had scored over 27,000- but the time didn't seem to be going down at all. I tried not gaining or losing points by avoiding Everything, but it didn't seem to work either- I only wanted to get on the leader board!! I tried to find a way to pause the game, or to end it without losing all the points, but could not, so I clicked for 'Main Site' and (I assume) lost my game!!!! So now I've wasted half the evening AND not got on the board!! Am I !!!!!! off!
Please could you let me know if there is any way I could have committed financial suicide/ bailed out or ended the game early without losing my score, as it is unlikely I'll reach those dizzy heights again. Also, I suppose it's not possible to retrieve my score at all- I'm gutted!!
Anyway, those kids have waited long enough- duty calls!! My husband (joking, I hope) threatened divorce at 23,000- but I'd only reached about 7,000 at the time, so it all seemed a bit remote!!

-200 and then played again but -130. However have been working a 12 hour shift today so will try again when not so tired.

Woohoo!!!!!! I've just scored 810 and Martin said 'No bad, but the shops still love you' and I still love Martin

Tried doing that on the pc and found that easier although when I jump I keep forgetting to move side to side too Managed to get to 1420 though and if I can break the 2000 barrier i'll be chuffed

I had the same problem. Reached ~11,000 with something like 0:0-54 time left and increasing! Some kinda bug I imagine.

I thought something was up when i reached over 500! Oh well...

I tried the game on Friday and again just now.....can only just manage 700......but its Martins fault!!!! I'd like to submit a complaint......he won't follow my directions properly and isn't running fast enough. He'll have to put in a bit of practice and perfect his jumping/catching skills!??!!?

I have just spent hours on this game. I got up to over 24000! Yes and I am a 56 year old woman who has never played any pc games ever before!!! Something definitely must have gone wrong with the timing!! I have had to just decide to stop and shut it down. Something must have gone wrong I find it very hard to believe that I am any good at it.
