I've just started my own "earn more" challenge by way of a cottage industry that has happened by accident!
I wanted to go camping in my volkswagen T4 van but needed a bed for my 3yr old daughter. So I designed and made a "cab bunk" to fit over the front seats.
On a camping weekend someone with a similar VW van saw it and asked about it and I ended up making one for them too. Word of mouth seemed to spread over the last 6 months and yesterday I started my own website to sell them! (doubt I'm allowed to mention the site name so I'd better not!). I'm advertising on google adwords now so am hopeful I might have just started a home business, not enough to live off yet but a little extra income certainly helps0 -
