  • Hi does this thread relate to the 'unenforceable credit' to do with CCA's signed before April 2007? I've searched all over and cannot find a thread relating to it!

true true. only thing i worried about is our mortgage deal ends next jan.. we are in neg equity at mo so as i understand we would automatically switch to their standard variable rate... Im happier in a fixed rate deal, i find it much better for budgeting... :p apart from the mortgage, i never want credit again.

I wouldn't worry too much, peb - mortgage lenders tend to look at the overall picture and are not unduly influenced by the odd 'default' on your crf.

Hi can anyone help me? Is sent an SAR request to lowell on behalf of my boyfriend for an old bank account the letters are going to his parents address. He received a letter from them saying they had received the letter and are going to get the SAR.Then a couple of days later there was then a slip from the postman posted through the door to say that a letter was at the post office because it needed signing for. Do SAR need to be signed for? should he sign for this letter or should one of his parents?

Certainly I had to sign for the information that BHF sent me after my SAR request, but I can't see any problem with one of his parents signing for it - provided they take the card, and some ID, with them when they go to the Post Office.

It's 12 working days from receipt of your request, Uww. Assuming it was signed for on Monday 30th March, then 12 working days would take you up to next Wednesday/Thursday.
