kimdegsidash When you say you have had a letter from littlewoods, What exact name are they useing?
Littlewoods finance company limited is dormant, the letter should now be from Shop direct finance company limited.
Just wondering;)Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -
i used kays and littlewoods, they are both under shop direct now.
they have admitted to me that they do not have the cca's and that they will not be pursuing the debt, but they also refused the full and final offers i made and stated that they will record the default on my credit report too :rolleyes:Please be nice to all moneysavers!

The thing is, do you care? i dont, my OH doesnt, so that would be fine by us, because im a BR and my OH is financially tied to me her credit rating was probebly shot anyway, if it wasnt it is now:o:rotfl:

true true. only thing i worried about is our mortgage deal ends next jan.. we are in neg equity at mo so as i understand we would automatically switch to their standard variable rate... Im happier in a fixed rate deal, i find it much better for budgeting...apart from the mortgage, i never want credit again.

Hmmm, by my luck so far, your not going to get them to back down by JAN 2010 anyway, and to be honest, mortgages are not always effected by unsecured loans, it would depend on the market as to whether it may be a problem.
But right now, i think the ICO, will back littlewoods, so it may be out of your hands.
If i find a way round it though i will let you knowThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….0 -

The ICO is in charge of regulating "data protection" which includes what info is placed on your credit files.
In theory you didn't sign anything to give the creditor permission to add things to your credit file since you signed no agreement, but the ICO don't seem to care about that. Not a good example to set for a regulator. :rolleyes:Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
