Damn, really wanted one of those Panasonic Widescreens. Checked my 2 local branches, Filton (Bristol) has plenty of Bush's left but no sign of a Panasonic!

Anyone have an idea of the difference in power consumption and cost between CRT, LCD and plasma for the same screen size?

    thank you

It certainly interested me, so many thanks Britishbeef! I rushed to Sainsburys Stoke Gifford and snapped one up. My old tv had given up the ghost a week previous and I was just gonna make do with my small portable, as my washing machine had also expired the same day (what did I do to get such bad luck?! ) but this was too good a bargain to miss. They had loads, just for the record. The only problem I had was nearly giving myself a hernia trying to get it from the car to the house and onto the unit! The trials of being a single girl!
