Just so you know that I empathise with you poor peeps going back to the coal-face today...



And maybe a little antidote for a brekkie smile...

The Wrinkled Nightgown
A man and wife were celebrating their 50-year anniversary, so the man bought his wife a $250 see-through nightgown. Later that night she was getting ready for bed and realized the nightgown was still in the box downstairs. Walking naked through the house, she passed her husband who said, "My word, for $250 they could've at least ironed it!"

How lovely it was to read your post about your time with your parents yesterday, horace. Precious times indeed - doing something lovely for mum, home-baked cakes...galloping horses and foxes?!
It's ok sweetie - it's the cantering badgers you have to watch out for!!!

I'm glad you told your parents about your op, angel. Sometimes we try to protect people when they're actually stronger than we think. Of coure they wanted to know - they love you! You'd feel the same way about them hunnie.
Well done you for being a very organized horace - freezing dinners, washing up etc! That katie-tulip hasn't been near Tiff Towers this weekend for cleaning duties.....time for a word in her shell-like, mthinks.

Anyway angel, look after yourself and make sure you rest, ok? Oh - and a Happy Birthday to both mum & dad horace for later this week!

Hi Guys

Had a good weekend. Had a sprinkling of snow over central Scotland, nothing dramatic.

Had a good rest on Saturday and took our son on a whisky tour yesterday. Spent too much on whisky but we are leaving Scotland in 3 weeks, so being a tourist now. Feel a bit sad but have been here 15 years and there isn't anywhere I want to live here so saying goodbye, but can always visit again.

hi sazbo, you must have needed the sleep hun, hope you feel nice and refreshed after it. nothing planned for today, just tidying the house, and putting things up in loft, builder just rang, they are starting work on the house on thurs morning, hopefully it should only be two days work, then the decorating will have to begin.
ccstar, glad to hear that you had a good weekend. never been to scotland myself yet, but have booked a holiday there for may this year.
