    Not sure what you mean. Just go to the site and pick what you want to watch.........

    or do you mean a stand alone product? Ether way you'll need broadband access and be in the UK.

    Thanks for the advice, I do have Broadband aacess. I was unsure, as I had a negative experience using C4's similar service, can't recall its name. I just wondered how easy it was to download etc.... Regards omnipeta.

    The C4 service is called 4OD, the iplayer is good but i think you need a good internet connection,

    I was able to listen to bbc radio abroad in the far east, but obviously no tv.
  • the stand alone client for the bbc iplayer and 4OD use p2p technologies - they will upload data to others and sometimes (rarely unless misconfigured) this saturates your internet connection making it slow and unresponsive when browsing the web etc.

    thats not to say that they arent great programs, just something to make note of

    In fact they use exactly the same Kontiki technology.

    I found this too - also pushed me over my download limit on BT Broadband :o
