    That would be 3s 10d to 5s 10d .... for my last bread trip then? And I know it wasn't that expensive. I remember my Mum complaining it was heading up to 1s 0d per loaf.

    I invariably buy the cheapest ones in store, and sometimes they are reduced to clear. Makes little difference to me when they're due to go out of date because I freeze them ;)

    Ok, I admit, I'm cheating a bit there, but I still regularly get that sort of price!

    It's alarming...especially for the USA...which means the rest of the planet should be very worried.
