Nothings grown so far. do you have to water them?
Make sure the compost doesn't dry out.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Having put a few seeds in a pot, I now can't move for chilli and pepper plants I've given loads away, do any of you green fingered experts know if they will be ok outside as I don't have enough windows for them.
Also I know I can dry the chillis when I harvest but what about the peppers can I freeze them?Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'0 -

According to this link you can grow them outside:

However their yield will be reduced and you will have pest problems.
Yes you can freeze peppers. It's better if you chop them up into cooking size pieces so you can just throw them into the dishes you make near the end of cooking time.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Me too :j I bought one each for me and DH last year for 99p at the local nursery. They're now huuuuuuuuge and we've had loads of chillis
If they weren't still growing strongly (with their 3rd crop of chillis), I'd have bought this collection of 5 different plants for £5.95
(plus postage).

Wow. I knew there was a reason for them giving you about 100 seeds per packet! I was gonna sell some at the car-boot along with tomato and pepper plants. Maybe I should hold on until they're fruiting and bung 'em in a pretty pot...0
