I managed to order a few things this morning, before they twigged. But when I just went back and looked I still had items in my basket, so I ordered again, and they are still there, despite email confirmation etc. Even though the items are not up for sale now on the site, they are sitting in my basket and that makes me think we will not get them. Still it was good while it lasted.
Hope some of you get what you ordered.

I hope that everyone keeps their heads on this.

It may be an error but if we leave it to their automated system for ordering, payment and despatch we have a chance.

DO NOT ring them to chase orders as that will alert them, better to wait a few days and let them charge your card / take youe money / cash your cheque etc. Then the contract is made which has to be honoured.

You are right on this. I have ordered from them before and it does take about 10 days or more to arrive plus don't forget they have all this extra work to do now with these orders so just let them get on with it and they will let you know by email if they want to cancel.......

Bet their board meeting will be fun this morning.....!!!!!!!

This is one of those occasions where if we get what we ordered, fantastic...and if we don't...c'est la vie. Afterall some of thee deals were blinding (to put it one way). The majority of companies couldn't afford to honour all of these. I shall be patient and will wait and see.

Just had an email from them as I cancelled some of my original orders to order other box sets as they came up. Bad news I'm afraid. Here is the email

    Hi Rob,

Thanks for the mail, Unfortunately this is an error, all of the box sets that you have listed are actually deleted and therefore are unavailable. We will be sending out an email to all of the people who have ordered the titles, explaning this.
I Have cancelled your orders for those titles, and no money has been transferred from you card.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience
    Regards,

    Kevin

Fair enough really. At least they haven't taken the money then lied about why they're not available (eh Virgin/Woollies/Tesco? ;) )

Not too sure about the lying bit! Deleted? all of them? at the same time? Deleted stuff listed as available on the website when it can clearly make stuff not available? Pull the other one! Just leave it at "an error on our part"....

surely if they send us a confirmation email to say we have ordered they should honour when they are available?

They've held their hands up to an error, the wording may be up for debate - they may well have "deleted" them from their website. no court in the land will make them supply at this price, they haven't taken any money, no contract to supply exists.

I was referring to the Virgin/Tesco/Woollie debacle when they took money for mispriced items THEN lied about them not being available.
