I keep thinking that they, the hackers, if there were any, blocked any of us from being totally connected to the site for the 4 hours and at the time that all the prizes went, if that could even happen, not techy minded I'm afraid.

according to paul (oh) people could divert the site to themselves hence we got server busy! BUT the new vouchers say only u the winner can exchange them so diff addresses wouldnt work xxx if they did they are mad microsoft are known to sue very easily xxx

Iam sure the last couple of days we had hardly any wins then we dont get not one of the 84 given out, something was not right lets see if thats what they have sorted out..

It is a promotion spanning 8 weeks and we are now in the final week of its promotional period.

It is powered by Live search, Microsoft, in conjunction with virgin who are giving out the prizes.

The front page the above link directs you to states that there is a prize to be won every hour. This is not the case.

Not only that but Saturday at 21:13pm 82 prizes were given out after the server went down, and upon contact with microsoft, they informed us that these 82 prizes all went when the server went down within 27 seconds of eachother.

Asking if the site had been "hacked into" they replied that it hadn't, but have been extremely vague with information i feel the public should be entitled to.

Not only that but they have changed the terms and conditions of this promotion throughout the last 7 weeks - many things in their T&C's keep changing, the main one being that all unclaimed prizes would be put back in to the prize pool - we have seen no evidence of this, and now the t&c's change again - upon calling virgin they inform us that unclaimed prizes will not be put back in to the prize pool

I am totally disgusted with how this promotion has been handled, i am not alone in feeling this either.

I would be extremely grateful for any advice regarding this matter.
