Cheers hon. Yeah most of the contracts round here seem to be permenant...but then I am secondary science. I'm just slightly upset that I have to go back to it tomorrow. Ha ha

I've been enjoying my little bout of inactivity! If only it could continue!

I've done lots of little extras like keywords for all the topics and planning year 11 till they leave (now I actually have the leaving date). :T

That should keep me busy for the weekend. I'm trying to keep busy and out of the way because OH has his diss deadline on Monday and is still working.

Waiting till I get paid to do the OP on the mortgage (and for all the bills to come out) I spent a lot on clothes this month (I did need them) and new school shoes so I should have more to chuck at the mortgage next month - although I am thinking I might pay off the credit card instead.

Parents are going to talk to their other mortgage folks on Tuesday so fingers crossed I'll know more about where we stand with regard to the other house. I've a horrible feeling it will fall through though...but I'm not telling OH that (he's negative enough for us both).

I might see if I can shake his hand....I'll get giddy with excitement if he talks to me. I feel faint typing this....I love Johnny Ball. He rocks.

So the dream is over. Mum and dad can't get their mortgage sorted so we can't do the move. Been looking at other houses and I think we could stretch to them...but I know OH won't. He doesn't want that big of a debt hanging over us.

I'm absolutely gutted. There is no way we will get sorted were we are....OH has very little motivation. I'm really fed up. We have been living in a building site for the last 3 years!!!

It also puts an end to any baby plans as we just don't have the space for kids. I really am quite upset. Gonna calm down a bit and wait for the weekend...then gonna try and come up with an alternative.

As it is I've volunteered for an external lady (and another teacher) to observe my lesson on Friday. Counts towards my NQT obs though so fingers crossed thats me done for the year then. Woop woop.
