Got a bit of a shock this morning when DH's mobile bill come through. £43!!!
His contract with O2 has run out and they haven't said anything to him. So his discounts appear to have been taken off and now it's shot up!!! It's normally £25. So I've hunted around for deals for him and have armed him with all the information he might need when he calls them up! Fingers crossed.
Right I have a few things to sort out this week but I'm actually going to have a holiday for once!!!
1. Write job application for promotions at work.
[STRIKE]2. Keep on at the dog crate people until they replace it! NOT happy with them at the moment. Had email saying new one is on it's way! We shall see.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]3. Tidy DH's flat.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]4. Go food shopping for the rest of the week. [/STRIKE]
5. Email staff to get work for a girl in my form while they are off.
[STRIKE]6. Plan coursework lessons.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]7. Sort equipment list for first week back.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]8. Double check lessons are planned for first 3 days back...resources and all.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]9. Submit meter reading for DH.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]10. Do MS on Friday.[/STRIKE]Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

DH managed to negotiate himself a new deal and a new phone...should be here tomorrow. £20 per month including VAT. He didn't haggle very hard but he at least earned himself some discount. Bless him...he tried at least.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Hi Twinkle
I accidentally once managed to haggle my phone contract down to £6pm. I wish I could remember how I did it though cos I pay much more than that now!
Glad to see doggy preparations are coming along nicelyUpdating soon...0 -

Right I'm officially the saddest person in the world! I have created a spreadsheet for the dog. One is about how much food to feed, weight, consistencies of poos etc (poo is important given I'm going to be RAW feeding her). The second page is types of food, prices, where I got it from and how she likes it etc. The third page is about the vets, who she has seen, why, medication given, cost etc.
I'm such a control freak. Everyone over on the pets page says I won't have time to input anything into the spreadsheet. But we'll see I guess.

Nah, it would depress you if you had one for the baby. They poop a lot. I found with DS1 every time i fed him, he pooped. My friend was a bit anal and recorded how long she fed for from each side. I tried it and it depressed me how many hours disappeared. I went with the flow with DS2 and it was more relaxed.
Twinklie - you are going to be too busy staring at it, playing with it. I agree with keeping tabs on vet visits, but other than that you want to be enjoying it and not spending all your time in front of a computer.0 -
I know...but I can fill most of it out when I'm at work....anything to get me through the day! Ha ha. Nah, in all honesty I'll just do it quick once a week probably. It was made more out of a desire to feel like I'm doing something to prepare for her arrival! Anyway, DHL say the dog crate is out on the van! Woo hoo....it should be here soon then!
I'm researching food places today. Yawn...for the dog of course!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Right a few things taken care of today. The dog crate has arrived, not going to take it out and check it until DH is home. But the delivery man said he knew nothing of collecting the damaged crate...so we might end up with that one as well yet...we shall see.
I've also booked the little one in for her first set of jabs and a check up. Poor thing...we'll only have her for a day before she gets carted off to the vets and stuck with needles. Bless. Still, I might make DH hold her so that then she'll still love me! Ha ha. Found some places to buy food but we really need a big freezer to put the food in...buying in bulk just makes it WAY cheaper!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
