DVD Unlocking/Multi-region Article Discussion

Hi all,

I got the above player last month and am trying to find an unlock code to play my region 1 dvd's.
I have searched the net for a few days but can't find anything.
If anyone can help I'd be so grateful...

I have 2 DVDs from Germany and cannot watch them because my DVD player will not read them.
I cannot find the multi-regional unlock code for the Symphonic wf104 anywhere! Can anyone help me? I have the actual DVD remote as well as a one-for-all universal remote... Whichever will work for the coding will be okay with me, but please let me know. Thanks!

German DVD's have the same region code 2 as UK ones. Look at the back of the case and there should be written something like RC2. Actually it should be printed on the DVD too.

I bought a DVD player from Asda and I'm struggling to find the unlock code.
It's a DS-225H.

Google doesn't seem to bring anything.
Anyone any ideas?

Hi, I'd be so grateful if someone could help me please. I have the above DVD player, and have bought some DVDs from a charity shop that are Region 1. They are TV series, like CSI.

If anyone has a clue how I can play them on the above player, I'd be delighted. If not, I'll just donate them back to the charity shop. I'm 65, and not very technically minded, so please explain as if you were talking to a young child!

On second thoughts, most 3 year olds have more knowledge than me!!
