Well that was a day today. Beat the target by £1:D Was out until nearly 7 to do it though. Good to get back into the swing of saving again. I got 6 £2 coins. They are lonely in the tin I will need to get a few more and get the savings built up again:D Not much happening here tbh. No news on OH's DD. They are all getting their hair done at OH's house tonight so I am getting peace to watch the football.£2 coin/ £460

Yesterday went quite well. Beat the target by a tenner. I have the money to pay the electric bill today and have banked some so I am well on the way this week. y blot on the horizon is the tanker drivers strike. Local garage is meant to run out of diesel today, If it doeas and I can't get it elsewhere I will have enough to do me until about Tuesday and that is it. Very uncertain about how it is going to pan out up here. I only know how bad the situation is locally as OH was informed yesterday. Hopefully it will only be for a few days. The strike is only for two days but the knock on effect could last for weeks apparently.
I am feeling a bit better today but still knackered. I reckon I have a bug but I need to keep on going as I am not working much this weekend.
Better get a move on as that is her on the phone giving me my first hire at 8.20:)£2 coin/ £460 -

What a weekend. Out Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Had a few beers tonight as well but nothing extravagant. Back in the chair tomorrow thankfully. I couldn't handle a weekend like this again in a hurry.
Looking forward to getting back to slaying my debts.£2 coin/ £460 -
Hi Mate,
Just got back from my hols and see youve been busy as ever!
Glad to hear they are getting to the bottom of your OH DD's health problems too.
Is it still manic by you re the fuel situation?? Good job you have people in high places to get yours from:D
Ever tried that Veg oil/bio diesel thingy??? 40 p a litre????
Don't think the drunks would mind the smell of chips either:rotfl: :rotfl:
Got my CRB back, medical booked for friday, not long for me now mate......0 -
It's funny the fuel situation. I was at Tesco today. No restrictions at all. My local Shell that OH works at has been rationing it since Thursday and has ran out as of this morning. I have a full tank and expect to have enough to keep going until things get back to normal.
To be honest I wouldn't put cooking oil into my tank with the car being so new. Don't know why but I just wouldn't want to chance it.
When do you reckon you will get on the road?
How was the holiday? I had a bit of a holiday weekend myself:D£2 coin/ £460
