JillD... bosch bosch bosch bosch bosch bosch or maybe a bosch one.......... Mine is absofloopinglutley fanfloofingtastic.. one of my best kitchen purchases.. it is used 2-4 times a DAY and has needed 1 repair EVER.. when it was filled with grease because I'm a pig and never washed it out. Before this we had a hotpoint one which was totally rubbish.. never washed anything properly. this one is easy to fill with salt/rinse aid/tablets, the shelves are senibly laid out so it is easy to get the pots in. Have its praises now been sung high enough?
I have just booked to take ALL the children out tomorrow for dinner. with my mother, stepdad 2 sisters and one OH (14 in total as DS1 is working) for mothers day/DS3's birthday (he is 9 on Tuesday).. should be fun if nothing else! I am stressed already!!!!!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

[/STRIKE]Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets & pillows need freshening up too!!
Level Three
[STRIKE]Rummage ALL the junk from one shelf and sort through it.. [/STRIKE]

- half an hour in the garden clearing the mess and making it nice for spring to arrive.. the sooner your garden is nice the sooner it arrives! Honest!
I've been to the dentist and seen my friend. Just having some lunch and then its assembly..!
I've finished flying for today...does going to a friends for dinner tonight count as me time..
Our swimming pool barely has change rooms, only about 6. The children seem to just get on with it:eek:
Its started raining here..I was too late to do the gardening..(what a shame)0 -
My nails are looking glam.. my nose thinks it is a tap.. You'll like this one.. you know I was thinking of going to college after summer to learn something useful.. well.. I have always been interested in and good at (don't laugh!!) biology.. yeah yeah.. heard it all before and some.. you aren't funny lol.. anyway.. I was thinking maybe the medical foundation? and go onto being a GP? or something.. ?? .. would that be WAY too over ambitious.. I would be 42 before I was fully qualified!! at least that!! Just doing a biology degree just feels to me like a pathway to teaching and I REALLY REALLY don't want to do that.. I have utter respect for those who can tolerate a room full of oiks all day long.. personally I'd shoot them
lol/quote]
pigpen- don't let age put you of retuning to education, i'm of to uni in september and will be about 43 by the time i finish, go and see what your local has college has to offer or give learn direct a bell. teaching dosent mean you have to teach oiks, you could teach adults thats what i'm thinking of doing after uni. i don't think you wanting to be a GP is to ambitious. just go for it girl.Back on MSE again! to take control of my finances and not let it control me. :T May grocery challenge £41.96/1400 -
HHC at 2-2.30?? I'm in, I need to do something! But I am really sore now, not constant just irritating electric shocks, phoned GP and she said what I knew she would 'drink 8-10 glasses of water, no caffine (ha! I can have 2 coffees per day) and come in on Monday, if it gets worse bla bola bla'.
OK, I plan, dishes, S&S kitchen and sort through Mount Iron-more.0 -
Pigpen - another go for it vote. Don't take this the wrong way (I mean this positively) but have you thought about midwifery? I really want to do an LLM in employment law but am too much of a wuss to commit to the time it needs (and the:eek: cost) so last year I dithered till I missed the enrolment date . In September both boys will be in school and I will have more time, my reduced working hours make the £ more of an issue though.....
JillD - I would also go for the Bosch, and wil never buy Zanussi again.
DS2 and I have just finished the top floor. Before it really started to rain we shifted yet more manure so I need a shower before the school run.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Kimberley - is the new oven a gas hob and electric oven. I thought they only did those high numbers on electric but like you say, they've probably changed things.
It's gas hob and a gas oven, it defo is gas because i can hear it when i turn the oven hob. It's so confusing, i prefer the old 123456 etc
Thank you Craftyscholar for these

Stopped sorting now to give me 30mins to get ready for school run.
Bags and post-its everywhere :rotfl: but DH kindly phoned round all the local womens aid places for me and found one that had room for clothes/books/toys etc so since all the little people are in school on Monday I can deliver the bags and boxes then(and maybe again on Thurday too)
Shoulder ache has now turned into neck/shoulder and occasional shooting pain down arm ache - I am almost 100% certain lo will be fast asleep by the time we get to school...
I would agree about bosch DW - ours was here when we moved in - we have been here 2 years and had no probs with it (and it is really quiet too - the most noise you hear is when the tablet drops) Previous one was an Indesit and I think was delivered faulty
MIL not feeling up to having the troops over tonight, so once they are in bed I can carry on "sorting" and make sure we are all set for the party-fest this weekend.

No.. and I don't intend to.. I have had VERY negative births with most of mine and my experiences would colour how I treat others and I can't do that.. I couldn't sit there watching others going through what I did knowing nothing ever changes.. BUT.. I could sit there and say yes you are over-reacting and no I will not prescribe antibiotics for a virus because they make you susceptible to more illnesses and do nothing for a virus. I think I would make a great GP.. I don't care if I broke every rule for the management team.. I'd do what I thought was best.. not what the trust wanted.. I'd also stand up and be counted when it came to change.
I would draw the line at a viagra pen holder which my GP has!!! lol .. keeps the lead from breaking in your pencil!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
