I am in this week too and must try and get it all done this week. I spent the majority of last week ill so my good start went to pot and house still looks like a tip. I also have to work at least 7 hours a day this week after having two weeks off (work from home) and make sure I don't neglect the children in the process.
I am going to try to do level 1 each day, no more than that, and if I do more great. I am hoping to do an enormous declutter over Easter, as we are not going away. Only four weeks to go, so if I can manage level one each day I will be keeping my hand in.

Hi everyone,
I am in again this week - although anything I miss on the day will not roll over - I will sort it next week :rotfl: We "only" had 2 kids parties this weekend, next weekend there are 3  - so I will start telling myself now - there will be no flying next weekend (and a huge thanks to lil_meand thanks from DH too he totally agrees with you!) Nothing constructive is ever achieved from focusing on the thing you didn't manage to do - so why do I always do it?! :rotfl:
Well kids are just in bed so I am going to sort out all the paperwork for school trips etc and get them in the right bags, sort lunches, uniforms are already done
Hi to Tashja :hello:
Catch you all later0 -
I'm here - after disappearing for the week last week - the house needs loads doing to it.
AnW's mum - hope everything goes okay over the next 2 weeks - feel free to pm me if you need to chat!

HHC anyone??
hubby and I are off for a stretch in the middle room.. it HAS to be done before I have some kind of breakdown.. if I could actually get in there (I know I did it all before about 20 times but the chimps trashed it again!) I could get rid of 90% of the contents and save putting it in the loft next weekend..
Away we go.. He also wants to go to the pub later.. so I've said we have to do the HHC and the uniforms/lunches before we go.. then we can come in and go straight to bed!... Back to reality, pah!
I have no idea where DS1's uniform is and think I was supposed to collect the dog from kennels between 4-6pm today.
Tomorrow morning is going to be me running round like an idiot finding uniform, getting them dressed, emptying the bags from the boot, dropping DS1 at school, and claiming I most certainly DID book the dog in till Monday!
I could do it just now, but I'm tried!!! *whines*0 -
Forgot to add -
AnW Mum - keep strong, head held high and on here for when you need the MSE community. ps liked the shoes.
Lil-me - our bins are a nightmare we have brown for garden waste emptied every two weeks apart from nov, dec,and jan when its every month, we then have a grey bin for general waste emptied every two weeks and a blue bin for paper & cardboard emptied every two weeks. As a h ouseholder you are EXPECTED to take plastic, bottles, tins & cans to a recycling point which is okay for us as we have one very close but what if you didnt!!!!
chasingbuterflies - with you on the parties my DD" has had one every week end for the last 6 and both DDs have one next weekend fortunately they are with school firends and as parents we agreed a price limit.0 -

Right 2 out of 3 in bed. AGA oven done - i loooooooooooooove ovenmate - not being a girly swat but I can't cook in the AGA after the door has been off for cleaning so need to go it at night to reheat over night. Top still to do tomorrow.
Time for HHI (30 minutes will not be enough) which is fine as I have shared a bottle of bubbley (cheap) with OH to celebrate the footie result (only I support them but the others are fine about them winning)The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
hi alll
decided to join flylady for the first time ever as i know 8i can keep up with everyone cause i had a major blitz yesterday. kids uniforms done all washin ironed and put away. house cleaned yesterday and living room floor washed twice yesterday as dh trod in dog poo just as i had moppped so had to do it again.
ive cleared plates and cups from ds room and can now actually walk over the floor which is a miracle in itself.
yes im feelin rather smug with myself at the moment but i know it wont last long with my bunch lol xx0 -
Hi, followed the thread last week but kids were on half term so didn't think I'd get much done but i am in this week.
Gave the place a once over yesterday but still needs work.
All my mates think I live in a show home but you lot put me to shame.
Going to start on the oven first thing.
Heres to a sparkling house by next weekend.0
